Odds & Ends

While still trying to shake off a New Year's Day induced football hangover, here are a few items of interest.

  1. The Steelers added a player to their practice squad that they had in interest in drafting back in 2006.

  2. Now that he's made the Pro Bowl, and been chosen as the Steelers' Most Valuable Player, James Harrison is beginning to get some attention.

  3. Saying that the Heinz Field turf is "a lawsuit pending," Fred Taylor suggests the Rooneys quit being so cheap and purchase some Field Turf.

  4. Last, and most importantly, the injury bug continues to bite the Steelers as Max Starks (meniscus)and Clint Kriewaldt are out for the remainder of the season -- however long that might be.
