Hines Ward is the Man

A quick note to let all of you know that Sirius NFL Radio is reporting that Hines Ward played Super Bowl XLIII with a tear of the medial collateral ligament in his knee.

The Sirius report is that the injury is a Grade II tear which has been described thusly: "[an] incomplete tears of the MCL. These patients may complain of instability when attempting to cut or pivot. The pain and swelling is more significant, and usually a period of 3-4 weeks of rest is necessary.
